This site is dedicated to the memory of Robert Lon Klotz born September 1, 1955 and deceased August 1, 2000. He founded Nove Research Institute in 1991 and maintained the online presence at nova.com for many years. In his untimely passing, Nova Research Institute became managed by his mother, Helen Klotz (1920-2017). She is forever grateful for all of the help she has received in keeping his research alive. With Helen's passing, all matters of her estate, Lonnie's and Nova Research Institute have been closed.

A word from his nephew: Lonnie got the monicker of "Uncle Gogo" from me when I was a young child, because when every he stopped by, he always had to "go go". It was his and his family’s aid and encouragement that enabled me to teach myself electronics and computing at a very young age in a very unlikely time and place. A fourth grader in northern Idaho building multimeters or programming his own personal computer was unheard of. When the internet hit big, Gogo was already there, waiting for the world to catch up. His site is archived here. It is a shame that at the height of the internet boom, he passed away. He is missed by his friends and family.
